There is a lot of financial advice out there, much of it good. But even the best advice is misspent if the advisor doesn’t know the client. Our secret to success is listening. It sounds simple, but few people do it well. We ask questions, and follow-up questions, because we can’t pick a single investment until we know where are you are on your financial journey, and where you want to go.
At Bridge, we won’t outsource your future. Our portfolios aren’t products on a shelf. They aren’t just formulas and algorithms. The best portfolios are born out of financial plans. They may share some characteristics, but each one will be a little different because no two people are alike. We take time to determine what makes you different, and act on what we find. All of our investment decisions are the product of robust, rational debate in a committee of nine professionals with a combined 130 years of investment expertise. We take ownership for them and always adhere to our process, principles, and passion.
Trust is earned, not given. We earn your trust by securing your future, and to do that we must first secure your funds, and your data. In the internet age, that’s a big job. Our clients’ investments are held at third-party custodians, TD Ameritrade and Charles Schwab, who provide an another set of watchful eyes on your money. For an extra layer of security, we’ve partnered with technology company eMoney. Their system delivers data to our clients in a secure, scrambled packets, hiding it from hackers with a security standard twice as strict as what’s required of financial institutions, including banks. Security is about more than computer code. It’s about peace of mind. It’s about confidence and sleeping soundly at night because you have a plan, and you know that your advisors are working hard so that plan becomes reality.

So many Americans are ill-prepared for retirement. We became financial advisors because we want to put more people on the road to a comfortable retirement. Every saver can save more. Every investor can invest better. We know what works, and what doesn’t. Nothing fulfills us more than sharing that knowledge and seeing results. A little planning and preparation go a long way. We do a lot of both, because we want you to go further.
