What are some interesting facts about you?
I’m the 2nd youngest of 5 siblings (I’m very grateful to my parents for all their sacrifice, not sure how they did it!). I am a naturalized Mexican citizen – my paternal grandparents were raised in Chihuahua, México. My wife is from Monterrey, Nuevo León, México. I’m fluent in Spanish.
What do you do at Bridge?
I’m currently serving in a support role, prior to passing the Series 65 Exam. It’s been great interacting with my colleagues! I’m looking forward to growing into the Wealth Advisor role. I’m confident that, with our primary focus on financial planning, I’ll be able to serve our clients, and be successful in helping them see tangible progress with their goals!
What are your credentials/past experience, for working in your position?
First and foremost, I enjoy interacting with people! I was Captain of my High School’s (Campbell Hall) 32-0 State Championship Basketball Team in 2005. I was Captain of the University of Pennsylvania Men’s Basketball Team, while graduating with Honors from the College of Arts and Sciences. It was important for me to make time to serve my community as well, giving roughly 5 hours per week.
I had the opportunity to play basketball professionally in Latin America, after college, for 5 years. Some highlights include winning the FIBA Americas tournament and representing the Mexican National Team in international competition. Without the rigors of academics taking up my time, I was able to serve much more in the community. I enjoyed utilizing my language skills and getting to know the people, giving 20+ hours of my time, weekly.
After my basketball career, I grew into a Sales Director role with AMResorts (owned by Hyatt). I learned many things, namely finding creative solutions to serve others’ needs. I continued to consistently find time to serve my community outside of work.
My sports and sales background has allowed me to learn and grow in a team setting. I’m excited about continuing to integrate into the Bridge Advisory team, as we prioritize dynamic solutions for our clients.

Your top three favorite Podcasts/Books?
I read “The Client” by John Grisham as a kid, and it is still my favorite book of all time.
I also love “Coach Wooden’s Pyramid of Success” by John Wooden and Jay Carty.
I enjoy listening to the “Capital Ideas” Podcast.
What are the Bridge Advisory Core Values that drive you?
All of the Core Values really resonate with me, but in particular I believe in being straightforward and accountable. Being accountable for performance, having integrity, being honest, and communicating directly are so important in this business. I hope to earn the trust of everyone I interact with. I strive to build genuine and meaningful lifelong relationships.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
I love spending time with my wife and family. I really enjoyed living in México and being close to my wife’s family. We’ll miss that! Now that we’re back in the US, it’s been great being closer to my side of the family. I’m a big supporter of my LA sports teams. One of the 1st things I did when I moved back to LA was to go to a Dodgers game.
What are you looking forward to?
Reintegrating to LA life and hopefully growing our small family in the near future.
What makes you smile?
Service and Family.
What would you do if you won the lottery?
I’d build our dream home, I’d take some time to travel a few times a year, I’d give to organizations I believe in, and invest the rest!
What’s the best adventure you’ve taken? Or favorite place you’ve traveled to?
In between my last position and starting with Bridge, my wife and I carved out some time to travel. We used the excuse of visiting my brother Nik (he is a professional baseball player in Hiroshima, Japan) and traveled for 2 months, experiencing 8 countries in Asia. It was amazing!
