Our Family

Some of our original clients are old enough to have great grandchildren at Bridge. We mind family fortunes with a keen eye on tax policy, and we aim to make family capital a source of opportunity, not strife. Passing wealth to the next generation takes thought and care. We are ready with both.

Bridging the Generation Gaps

The Baby Boomers are the wealthiest generation in history with some $30 trillion in assets. But that enormous number guarantees nothing for their heirs. Much of that money will be lost to over-spending, bad investments, and negligent tax preparation. We think that’s a terrible waste. With proper care, this wealth can be passed along, not to guarantee a life of leisure, but as a resource to pay for education or start a business. Bill Gates says he wants to leave his kids enough to do anything, but not so much so they can do nothing. But you don’t have to be a billionaire to give your kids a modest leg up. You just have to plan and pay attention.
